Our Inner Love Affair with Fairy Tales........

Do you remember when you could fly? When you believed in magic? When anything was possible? Do you remember being in love since your first fairy tale story?

I do…. to this date, I still have visions of a fairy tale prince riding on a white horse.

I believe there is a piece of all of us, a sliver of innocence filled with hope and faith left from our youth, lying dormant, that comes alive when we read a good love story or watch a romantic movie, or from the experience of the unexpected release of a ton load of butterflies from the spark of a spontaneous flirt. This is our truest selves, the part of us that soar with wings of faith, subconsciously believing in fairy tales and true love.

My most loved fairy tale is and will always be Pocahontas, a native princess who lived a daring life of freedom believing and relying on the spiritual world. She fell into a forbidden love with John Smith a British explorer. They both came from different worlds but shared one destiny uniting two cultures for the sake of love. After they found love and John was innocently held captive they both reflected on "If I never Knew You." This fairy tale resonates in me, as it highlights the reality of falling in love effortlessly and innocently, depicting the mystical forces of the Spirits as they guide and bind us with the beautiful feeling of LOVE, which in the long term turns out to be a diamond in the making; packaged and gift wrapped after every challenge, obstacle and heart break.

From the eyes and experiences, to the soul expression of a faith filled Jesus lover, fun loving wife, mother and empowered female, this blog aims to navigate inspirational and provocative views from fairy tale love, reality to traditional and modern day dating and relationships sprinkled with a pixie dust twist.
